It occurs to me that if you're really into bagpipes and octopus, Santiago de Compostela is your kind of town. The local specialty is squid in every incarnation imaginable. And there is a very old Celtic tradition here that manifests itself in modern times as strolling gangs of students playing bagpipes. They look sort of similar, octopi and bagpipes...

There's a joke about that. It ends with the octopus saying, "I couldn't figure out how to get her pajamas off."
I know! I was definitely thinking of that, but didn´t feel like writing the whole joke... I have some pictures of octopi and bagpipes, but I can´t link to them because the wavy-line symbol doesn´t appear alone on spanish keyboards -- only as ñ, therefore panix2.panix.com/ñsuzanne doesn´t work.
Oh, how silly.
